Ron Harris

About this Speaker

Ron Harris is the Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Minneapolis; he has served in this capacity since February 2019. In this work, his focus is on three main pillars: racial equity, economic inclusion and environmental justice. Prior to serving as CRO, Ron was the Senior Advisor to the Minneapolis City Council President for 2 years. In this role, he negotiated the passage of multiple citywide policies, including a mandated increase in the minimum wage for all people working in Minneapolis. 

Ron is also a public speaker, political influencer, and consultant. He is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders, particularly in the public sector.
